The Best Day at Australia Zoo Starts in the Sky. You can drive to Australia Zoo. Most people do the Bruce Highway, the carpark hunt, the rush back before traffic kicks in. Or you can climb into a private helicopter at Caloundra Aerodrome, lift off over Kings Beach, track the Sunshine Coast coastline north, then sweep inland over the ancient Glasshouse Mountains before touching down for a day with crocs, koalas, tigers and the team carrying on Steve Irwin's legacy.
Whether you've got a full day with the family or three hours for a long lunch at the Warrior Restaurant, the Australia Zoo Helicopter Experience is how Sunshine Coast locals (and the in-the-know visitors) actually do Australia Zoo.

Full-day wildlife experience for up to 4 people
